I was never really sure what God had planned for me,
That has led me along my path to Christianity.
This path had many twists and had many turns.
Frets and worries and mild concerns.
Baptised a Catholic and brought up that way.
Went to Sunday mass and every day I'd pray.
A strong faith in the Lord, I kept in my heart.
Religion in my life played an important part.
I knew with my religion I'd a decision to make.
God had laid out for me a new path to take.
My path to Christianity was laid out for me.
A decision made in all sincerity.
I always had a strong faith in the Lord.
He was always there for me to turn towards.
To help and guide me and support me each day.
Listen and answer my requests when I prayed.
I am happy now with the decision I have made.
I remember those days when along the path I strayed.
Lost touch with my faith and sadly did sin.
But I always rediscovered the faith that I had within.
My path to Christianity is there for me now.
Day by day and step by step is the only way I know how.
It fills me with happiness and fills me with joy.

When I pause to rest, it's the Bible I read.
To settle my faith and help me succeed.
